What huck is trying is whatever you do in life your life your conscience will always get to you weather you do something good or bad .

I don’t think huck really gets affected by his conscience because he knows whatever he does helps or benefits him in the long run even though he probably does not understand that he is hurting or affecting others with his actions that’s why I don’t think huck and his conscience dose not get to him. I disagree with what huck semms to act like after he is done with his actions or whatever you want to call it, he seems like he don’t care long as he is getting what he wants and needs.

Three examples of huck’s conscience getting to him is when huck helped jim by saying that jim was his slave and huck owning jim that’s one example. The second example is when huck helped the king and the duke by helping them steal that bag of money that showed that he put others before him sometimes. And the third example is when he helped out those other robbers.
